It’s a journey of passion that started as a young boy helping his father on their family farm and has blossomed into a dream come true: a beautiful café and coffee farm nestled in the foothills of the Volcanoes National Park, where he shares the soul of Rwanda with every single guest. This is his life’s work, and he wants to share it with you.

Meet Bosco: The Man Behind the Magic

For over 13 years, Kayitana John Bosco (just call him Bosco!) has been one of Rwanda’s most trusted and beloved tour guides. But his expertise doesn’t stop at the driver’s seat. Bosco is a true coffee master—a celebrated two-time National Barista Champion of Rwanda who has trained aspiring baristas across five different African countries. He’s the go-to guy for everything from advanced bird watching to understanding the subtle behaviors of the mountain gorillas.

He’s a natural storyteller who lives to connect with people, blending his world-class guiding skills with an infectious passion for his homeland. It’s this incredible combination of expertise, warmth, and a deep love for coffee science that makes any experience with him unforgettable. And now, he has created a place where all his passions come together.

Then, we’ll step onto my farm, a sanctuary where every coffee tree is nurtured organically, from seedling to harvest. You’ll get your hands dirty, picking the ripe, ruby-red coffee cherries alongside me.

We do everything by hand here, using traditional methods passed down through generations. That intensive, personal touch gives our coffee a soul—a flavor that machines simply can’t replicate. The grand finale is sitting down with my team, the very people who pour their hearts into this land, and enjoying a cup brewed from the beans you just picked.
